Uroflowmetry remains the mainstay in a urologic workup and is broadly considered the first step in the diagnosis of lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS). The EasyFlo4 is designed to meet physician and patient needs for an accurate, easy-to-use uroflow system.
The EasyFlo4 is a wireless, battery-powered device that can be used in any clinical setting. The EasyFlo4 automatically starts the test with the onset of urine flow and automatically ends when a period of 30 seconds elapses with no urine flow. There is no need to have personnel present to switch off the device. Its batteries last about six months with normal use and its load-cell technology ensures accurate measurements and, unlike alternative uroflow systems, remains easy to clean.
SRS Medical software allows the EasyFlo4 to work with most PCs. A dedicated computer is not required. Up to four EasyFlo4 stations can be based on a single PC and stations can be located as far as 30’ from the PC. Patient studies from all stations are saved to a single database and they print on an easily interpreted report, with all clinical measures automatically charted, including:
- Urine flow pattern (graphically)
- Total voided volume
- Total void time
- Urine flow time
- Average urine flow
- Maximum (peak) flow
- Onset-to-peak flow time
- Liverpool Nomogram (Normative comparisons)
The EasyFlo4 is currently a component of the Clarity uDx Urodiagnostic Workstation and a standard part of the CT3000 UroCuff Test and EasyPro4 Urodynamics.
